Learners' understanding and thinking about adaptation
An example from ECLIPSE of what students have said relating to adaptation:
Dogs that have been taught over and over to retrieve have puppies that automatically have already got that sense
The polar bear's body was telling it to grow more fur because it was so cold, so after a while it just adapted to always having fur
This is just one of a wide range of science topics that learners have talked about in ECLIPSE projects.
