The 'big bang' theory

An examples from ECLIPSE of what students have said or written relating to the big bang theory:

Only some planets have moons because when the big bang happened some of the medium masses of rocks did not have a small mass of rock go near them - see Students' suggested explanations

The universe began with a comet or star that imploded or exploded

Two atoms collided together and the universe was formed from that

Two meteorites collided and created the universe

This is just one of a wide range of science topics that learners have talked about in ECLIPSE projects.
