Learners' understanding and thinking about gravity

Some examples from ECLIPSE of what students have said relating to gravity:

Because they are laws these things have to be true

Gravity is a force which pulls things towards the centre of the earth

The law of gravity is that things will always move towards the centre, but it is different on the moon

This is just one of a wide range of science topics that learners have talked about in ECLIPSE projects.
