Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn Zakariyyāʾ al-Rāzī (c. 864 or 865-925 or 935) was a Persian polymath – a physician, medical researcher, philosopher writing about many topics, and an alchemist. He is best remebered for his medical writings, some of which were infleuntial for centuries.
