Learning progressions

A topic in Learners' conceptions and thinking

The term 'learning progression' may refer to either the observed pattern of development in a learner's thinking (also referred to as a 'learning trajectory') or a scheme to guide teaching with planned staging points in student thinking informed by research into learners' ideas (Taber, 2021).
