Features of an analogous system that maps well on the the target system.

"Sometimes, a distinction is made between positive, negative and neutral aspects of an analogy. In the nucleus-brain comparison, a positive feature of the analogy would be how the signals from the nucleus can influence activity in the rest of the cell (akin to how signals from a brain influence activity elsewhere in the body).
