Concept mapping is a flexible technique that can be used for teacher planning, diagnostic assessment and formative assessment, as a research technique for exploring people's thinking, as a learning or revision activity or for 'brainstorming' as for example in project work.
The following are offered as examples of concept maps drawn by learners. The copyright in each image is owned by its creator, and I am grateful for the learners concerned allowing their work to be used to inform teaching.
