"Another simple example is to think what happens to an ice cube when you take it out of the freezer. Given a little time, it melts into a liquid state before eventually evaporating into water vapour. Through both of these changes, its entropy increases. The molecules that were tightly packed together as a solid are now bouncing around, having a high old time in their gaseous state."

The phrase "molecules…in their gaseous state" might potetnially be considered an example of a macro-micro confusion: a sample of a substance may be in a gasoues state, but it is questionble whether molecules themselves can be said to be in a gaseous state.
