Mario Augusto Bunge (1919-2020) was philosopher and physicist. He considered his stance on the nature of science a form of scientific realism, and he was a critic of pseudosciences (among which he considered psychoanalysis and some forms of projective psychology.) He was one of the most influential and respected philosophers of science.
