Sir Patrick Alfred Caldwell-Moore (1923 – 2012) was an English amateur astronomer and science populariser who was best known for presenting the BBC monthly television show 'The Sky at Night' for over 50 years. He was also a school teacher early in his carrer, and the author of many books (and he became something of a 'celebrity'). He had a stint as president of the British Astronomical Association.
